Merryvale – Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley

Overview:Wines of distinction crafted in the heart of Napa Valley. Merryvale Vineyards produces wines that are complex, balanced and represent the best of each vintage.

Drawn from top Napa vineyards: Stagecoach, Hardman Stanton and Greenwood
with each vineyard fermented separately in small tanks. Native fermentation started
after a 5-day cold soak and reached a peak temperature of 90??F. The wines were
pumped over a few times a day until dry and then pressed and drained to barrels
where malolactic fermentation occurred. Aged in 50% new medium toast French oak
barrels, the wine matures for 22 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and vibrant with great mouthfeel and a long finish, this wine is very
approachable in its youth. Drinking well now, it exhibits classic Napa Cabernet characteristics with surprising depth. This wine sets the standard for high quality Napa Cabernets and will age beautifully for the next 15 years.
