Hand-crafted barrels for maturation are made from select trees in the famed region of France, chosen personally by Master Tequilero Pepe Hermosillo. Forest -aged for two years to absorb a unique sense of place, the barrels are then transported to the renowned cooperage of Troncais & Bertrange, where they are toasted and aged one additional year to create the ultimate vessel for liquid maturation.
Beautiful balance is achieved through thhe artful blending of 12 extra anejos and 9 anejos aged 1-5 years. This array of tequilas allowsMaster Tequilero Pepe Hermosillo to play with dozens of arromas and nuances to craft a flavor profile unlike any other.
Tasting Notes:Alluringly rich and silky, this tequila provides a superb balance of cooked agave sweetness, vanilla, and ripe fruits, with hints of peach and roasted nuts with spiced accents. The finish is smooth and offers a whisper of white chocolate, pecan, and almond.
