  • San Andres Alipus is made from maguey Espadin and Bicuishe. The land surrounding Don Valente’s palenque is a 5000-foot-high rolling plateau. Although the soil is mostly shale, which isn’t ideal for growing plants of any kind, some agave can thrive. Don Valente’s mezcals are known for their distinct flavors and aromas, and this one is no exception.
