Overview:Nada Giuseppeis based in Treiso, one of the four villages of the Langhe where Barbaresco is produced.Discover the history of the Nada Winery, rich in family tradition and love for our hills. Taste our wines, one of a kind. Live our territory.
Giuseppe Nada’s father began estate bottling the family production in the pastoral Langhe Hills of northwest Italy in 1964. GIuseppe now works their 15 acres of vines wit his wife, while their daughter handles the office and their son makes the farm’s wine. They eschew herbicide, harvest by hand, and take a minimalist approach in the cellar. From vines on the flanks of their village of Treiso they make around 250 cases each year of this fresh, spicy, aromatic Barbera.
Tasting Notes:Aromas of wild berry, aromatic herb and a whiff of cedar lead the nose. The forward palate offers ripe Marasca cherry, mocha and a hint of sage alongside smooth tannins.
Pairing:Braised beef, roasted salmon, bagna cauda (vegetables with garlic & anchovy sauce)
