Plantation 3 Stars White Rum

The award-winning Plantation Rum portfolio is expertly handcrafted by Cognac Ferrand, one of the world’s premier boutique producers of fine spirits. The spirit masters at Cognac Ferrand select the very best aged rums from the Caribbean and Latin America, then transfer the spirits to Cognac to be refined for a second aging in their own Cognac barrels. The first white rum in the Plantation portfolio, Plantation “3 Stars” Silver Rum is created by expertly blending unaged rum from Barbados and Jamaica, with a three year old rum from Trinidad and a twelve year old rum from Jamaica. The blend is then carbon filtered to maintain its clarity and remove the heavier tannins, while preserving the elegant aromatics and complex flavors developed and refined by aging. The nose opens with a delicate floral aroma which leads to bright notes of tropical fruit, candied citrus peel, brown sugar and banana. Flavors of ripe fruit, soft spice, white pepper and fresh herbs appear on the well-balanced, medium-bodied palate and merge with notes of ginger and vanilla on the finish.
