A barrel sample coming from the Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard, the very deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon GIII gives up a very deep purple-black color and nose of cr??me de cassis, baked blackberries and preserved plums with touches of dark chocolate, scorched earth and cloves with a waft of tapenade. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a generous amount of gregarious black fruit and exotic spice layers with a fantastically firm, ripe tannic backbone and great length.”
